Clare Valley Wineries
Most wineries are open to the public, and it is in the Clare Valley at the smaller wineries that you will get the chance to meet the wine maker at cellar door. Wine tours are also available in the area.

The Riesling Trail
A walking/cycling trail which winds its way from the township of Clare in the North through to Auburn in the south, a total distance of 27 kms. Visitors undertaking this outing gain a strong sense of history, and see fabulous scenery and local attractions. Cycle hire can be arranged and maps can be collected from the Clare Valley Tourist Information Centre.

Martindale Hall, Mintaro
Martindale Hall is an authentic 19th century Georgian mansion nestled in a 45 acre conservation park in Mintaro, South Australia. Its interesting history of tragedy and success contribute to its beauty as do the original furniture and fittings that it contains. Martindale Hall is also famous for its feature in the movie 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'. The Hall is open to visitors every day except Christmas day and Good Friday. Located in Blyth, West of Clare, the Medika Gallery hosts a multitude of beautiful works for you to enjoy. One of the valley "must do's" is  the history walk with Brother John May at St Aloysious and Sevenhill Cellars. Bookings are essential, and can be made through Sevenhill Cellars.
